Slip the hanger over the backing and your work is done.

2mm to 2.5mm Board Thickness, closed type hanger. 

The difference between the 1447 and 1427 hangers is that the 1427 when fitted is closed allowing frame stacking, the 1447 when fitted is an open hanger and may protrude the finished frame.
